She has worked extensively with public sector clients in New York City during her time at Citibank, and with multinational corporations in the Global Industrials and Consumer Products & Retail sectors as part of Bank of America’s Western region.
Her success stems from a combination of strategic foresight and strong communication skills, enabling her to secure complex, high-stakes deals and clearly articulate her team’s value during client engagements. She is also known for her ability to build meaningful connections with clients, often bringing creativity and charisma into professional settings—for example, hosting International Music Trivia Night as a way to strengthen relationships while showcasing her expertise.

Storytelling & Banking
Vanda bridges her career in banking with her passion for storytelling as a published author, bringing authenticity, creativity, and connection into every professional setting. Recognized by senior leadership for her ability to engage and inspire, she was invited to teach a Masterclass on the Art of Storytelling in Sales to more than 90 Bank of America associates—demonstrating how narrative can transform client conversations into lasting relationships. Her skill in fostering meaningful dialogue also led to an invitation to speak on a panel about having effective conversations with managers during performance reviews, a testament to her credibility as both a communicator and a mentor.
With her natural ease in connecting with people, Vanda has also hosted several fireside chats with senior banking executives, creating spaces where associates could hear firsthand insights from leadership while building stronger community and professional development opportunities. By blending her financial acumen with her storytelling gifts, Vanda continues to cultivate a culture of connection, growth, and impact.

Public Speaking and Coaching
Vanda’s most formative experience, both personally and professionally, has been her involvement in speech and debate, which she pursued throughout high school and college. Beyond sharpening her public speaking, this activity taught her the art of strategic and persuasive communication—skills that became invaluable in winning over audiences, whether in a college entrance interview, a job interview, or securing a new client deal. She came to view effective speaking as a kind of superpower that fosters connection and influence. During her time as a Career Counselor at Kaplan College, Vanda coached numerous students in these techniques, and she has continued to mentor individuals in public speaking and storytelling throughout her career. Looking ahead, her goal is to establish her own workshops to share these transformative skills with others.
Studies have shown that within 4-6 weeks of targeted public speaking programs, students exhibited measurable physiological and performance improvements. A study conducted in 2023 showed that there was a 33% decrease in self-reported anxiety after participating in a structured speaking program. The benefits are compounded with repeated practice and feedback.
