Hi there, I’m Vanda! I’m a proud first-generation Armenian-American who’s taken a somewhat winding (and very fulfilling) path in life. By day, I work in corporate banking as a Treasury Sales Advisor, helping clients navigate complex financial challenges. But what I love most about my work isn’t the spreadsheets or strategies—it’s the people. Building genuine relationships, earning trust, and finding creative solutions together is what keeps me inspired.

My love of being a “global citizen” started back in college. At Occidental, I dove into Political Science and even traveled abroad to do field research on the Cypriot conflict for my honors thesis. Later, I pursued my Master’s in International Economic Affairs at George Washington University in D.C. Before I even finished, I landed an internship with Citibank in New York, which set me on the path of international banking that I’m still on today.

But my story isn’t all numbers and finance. I’ve also embraced my creative side as the author of Audrina’s 1st Tooth Party, a children’s book that encourages kids to follow their hearts. 100% of the profits go to children’s literacy and education programs—causes that mean the world to me. One of my favorite things is visiting local schools to read to kids and share the book’s message of kindness and authenticity.

When I’m not working or volunteering, I’m usually traveling (I love learning about new cultures and sharing little snippets of my journeys on Instagram), spending time with my fur nieces Bella and Chloe (yes, I’m the dog auntie who spoils them), or tucked away in a cozy LA coffee shop with a good book. Los Angeles is home, and I feel so lucky to live in a city that celebrates diversity while also keeping me close to my Armenian roots.
